Lori Whittaker, LCSW

I offer a safe, empathic environment for individuals and couples to focus on their own healing and awakening. Through self-awareness and compassion, my hope is to support each person as they discover inner peace, joy and fulfillment in their life, and to experience true intimacy in their relationships.

Credentials:

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in both Oregon and Washington. I hold a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Portland State University and am a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Specialty:

I have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Couples Counseling: Gottman (level 1), Pairs and Bader-Pearson, LCSW supervision towards licensure, Dreamwork, Non-Violent Communication, Family-of-Origin work, Process Oriented/Jungian Psychology and Adoption Consultant.

I provide supervision for MSW's who are seeking licensure (LCSW). I have worked in the social service field for 30 years, and have had extensive experience counseling individuals, families and adolescents.
