What is Premarital Education?
Most couples go to therapy to work on their marriage when things seem unsolvable. Getting married without some sort of pre-marriage preparation is like starting a business, or any other important life venture, without a plan. Premarital Education is for skill-building, to create a foundation based on open communication, intimacy, and a structured plan for your future together.
"But We’re So Happy!"
Courtship has a funny way of protecting us from significant issues or disagreements. At some point in your marriage, unforeseen challenges and conflicts will arise. Research shows there is a small, precious window of opportunity during the year before the wedding and the six months or so after, when couples will receive the optimal benefit from Premarital Education. Later, under stress, negative habits and relationship patterns are much harder to break. Start today, while you have so much fresh, positive, and loving energy in your relationship!
